This summer, CPC Solutions took delivery of two brand new, state-of-the-art machines, which places them in the heart of the printed packaging business. The investment gives them the ability to perform sophisticated die cutting, embossing, folding, and gluing for many box and carton configurations, including pocket folders. The new machines are a perfect complement to their current operation of providing high-end four color printing and marketing solutions.

CPC Solutions chose the German based machine manufacturer, Heidelberg, because of their intensive engineering prowess and dedication to ongoing service. CPC can now produce anything from a small toothpaste box to a large clothing gift box.

CPC Solutions company history

CPC Solutions began as Colorado Printing Company in 1947. Originally a “letterpress shop,” as were all printers at that time, it served customers in Grand Junction and around the western slope of Colorado with business forms, letterhead, envelopes, business cards and marketing collateral. In effect, they provided marketing solutions to the local clientele. It quickly became apparent to the operators that the method of printing was not the concern. In order to be successful, they had to form a relationship with the customer that involved respect, integrity and the delivery of a great product.

As the times and the printing business changed, CPC changed with it. Offset printing emerged in the 1960s. By the 1990s, direct to plate technology and the digitization of print, along with the efficiencies of communications over the internet, allowed the company to expand geographically. It was now possible to provide high quality four color printing to the intermountain west, from Denver, CO to Reno, NV; from Jackson, WY to Santa Fe, NM; and beyond.

The new century has meant more change. Digital printing, variable data printing, direct mail, integrated marketing programs, including email marketing and personalized URLs (PURLs), have all become part of the solutions offered by the company. By 2009, a name change was in order. To better represent what they do, CPC Solutions became the new name.

The latest solution is packaging. CPC now offers turnkey packaging capabilities including design, print, die cutting, embossing, folding and gluing to provide complete packaging products to their customers.

Throughout the last 65 years, the methods of communication and the production of communication materials has changed, and will continue to change. But CPC Solutions remains dedicated to the same customer relationship of respect, integrity and the delivery of a great product.

The soul is grounded, the energy changes with the times.

As part of our holiday gift for 2011, we made the commitment to sponsor Arbor Day 2012 in Grand Junction and its marketing efforts for their yearly tree poster contest.  Over 1,700 trees, in a variety of species, were donated as well as 600 drawing pads for the poster contest.  It was the first time that participating schools were provided material, thus increasing the number of overall entries.

A few of our staff were in attendance to hand out “Treemendous Trivia” stickers to the children and take part in the festivities (the link above will take you to the questions and answers).  Thanks for the positive feedback, from many of our clients, regarding this program.  Our intention is to make it a yearly tradition.

Go plant a tree!
